Join the team of St. Louis, Chapter 21 professionals who are willing to share their real-world knowledge with aspiring entrepreneurs and established small business owners. As a member of SCORE, you’ll be part of a nationally recognized association. Founded in 1964 by the U.S. Small Business Administration, today there are 12,400 volunteers and 364 nationwide offices. 8.5 million entrepreneurs have relied upon SCORE. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors. The St. Louis Chapter has counseled thousands of clients. Gain the personal satisfaction of helping others to achieve their dreams by offering your knowledge and skill in business. You will receive special training and mentoring, augmented by monthly meetings with our group of over 50 counselors and participation in our seminars on “How to Successfully Start a Business”. You will find it stimulating and interesting to work with the aspiring entrepreneurs of our community. Volunteer responsibilities include: Individual and team counseling of new and existing businesses. Also sharing your knowledge at SCORE’S entrepreneurial training seminars & workshops. All counselors honor a code of ethics to ensure client confidentiality & professional conduct.
